ONLINE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES IN SOUTH AFRICA

DEFECTIVE ITEMS, RETURNS AND REIMBURSEMENT

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to a defect, incorrect size or fit or other reason, you may return it to Sitting Pretty within 14 days of delivery, free of charge on items over R999, and either receive a refund, or have the product replaced, depending on the situation. Returns can only be made by adhering strictly to the procedure below.

  • For sale items and items under R999 you will have to return the item to us with your own courier or at a charge of R100. You will be refunded when we receive your item.
  • Black Friday and Clearance sale items, we will not accept any returns, refunds or exchanges on any of these items. All sales are final.

You must email us with your order number, include the item name, colour and size that you wish to return or exchange. Please also let us know your reason for the return/exchange. Click here.

  • Once collection is arranged, the courier will give you a waybill. We will provide you with waybill details which must be entered exactly as indicated, if any information is entered incorrectly you will be held liable for the courier fees.

  • Products must be returned in their original packaging, with their labels intact and any accessories included, in perfect condition for re-sale. They must therefore be unworn, unwashed and undamaged.

  • If the above conditions are met, once the return has been approved, the total amount of the items returned, including vat, will be refunded or exchanged depending on your preference and on product availability.

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the item is in stock, it will be sent to you free of charge within a maximum of 14 days. We only offer one free return/exchange per order, after the first return/exchange there will be a R100 shipping charge on the second exchange and exchanges there after.

  • In case of a refund, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that the refund will be paid on your bank account within a maximum of 30 days. You will be refunded using the exact same bank account details provided used for your payment. Cash refunds are not possible.

  • Strictly no returns on clearance items sold on Black Friday.

  • Sitting Pretty reserves the right to reject returns sent or communicated beyond the return period limit, or items, which are not in the same condition in which they were received.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

  • The returned product must be in the original condition as sent.

  • The returned product must come with original packaging.

  • The customer is responsible for getting the product back to us, must arrange their own courier at their own cost. Once received, we will refund you in full less any shipping costs/duties/VAT we have incurred.

  • No exchanges on international orders

  • We advise against sending an item back via postal service. Please use a courier to return any parcels. The South African postal service is not reliable.

IN STORE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

  • We do not offer refunds on items purchased in store. 

  • If you would like to exchange an item purchased in store you can do so within 14 days of purchase. 

  • No refunds in store, if you would not like to exchange your item for something else you will be given store credit for the item returned.

  • If the above conditions are met, once the return has been approved, you will be issued store credit to the total amount of the items returned or exchanged depending on your preference and on product availability.
